If you prefer a more leisurely pace you will appreciate the tranquillity of The Arboretum, an award winning Victorian park right in the centre of the city, recently transformed by a £3 million regeneration project. Enjoy the fountains, ponds and a maze, or watch the boats as they come and go from the Brayford Waterfront.
The Lincolnshire countryside, once an area visited by kings and poets, is ideal cycling country where you’ll also find charming villages and traditional towns, such as Gainsborough and Sleaford. The coastal resorts of Cleethorpes and Skegness are just a car ride away.
Travelling couldn’t be easier. The A15, M18 and A1 are all within easy reach – as are both the Humberside International Airport and Robin Hood Doncaster/Sheffield Airports which are located approximately 30 miles away from Burton Waters.
